What happens if I am in a car accident? (not injured)

What happens if I am in a car accident and not injured?

If you have been in a car accident and have not suffered an injury, you still have a claim. You still have been hurt. There is probably damage to your car, and there may be inconvenience associated with it – perhaps you missed a day of work.

The reality, however, is that you are not going to get enough compensation in that claim to merit hiring an attorney. And that is the reason why attorneys who do what we do – disability and injury attorneys – can really only help you in an auto accident claim if you suffered bodily injury. Because then we know the claim is going to be of sufficient value that you can afford to retain us and we can still provide benefit to you.
