How Las Vegas  Pedestrian Accident Happen

Las Vegas pedestrian accidents can happen in a variety of ways, including speeding, distracted driving, and running red lights.

Speeding is a major factor in pedestrian crashes; drivers who are going too fast may not have enough time to react when someone steps into the street. Distracted driving also plays a role; if a driver is texting or talking on their phone while behind the wheel, they may be less likely to see a pedestrian crossing the street.

Finally, running red lights can cause serious collisions if a pedestrian is walking in the crosswalk when the light turns green.

How to Stay Safe When Walking Near Traffic

When it comes to staying safe when walking near traffic, it’s important to be aware of your surroundings at all times.

Make sure you are visible by wearing bright colors, and always look both ways before crossing the street. It is also a good idea to use crosswalks and follow all street signs and signals when crossing the road.

When possible, walk on the sidewalk instead of in the street and avoid walking alone at night.
