Nourishing Our Community: Shook & Stone’s Volunteer Day with Three Square

Last April 5, 2024, our team at Shook & Stone traded in our briefcases for food containers and rolled up our sleeves for a day of giving back at Three Square Food Bank. Teaming up with Trial Lawyers Care and Nevada Justice, we embarked on a mission to make a real difference in our Las Vegas community, one meal at a time.

For those unfamiliar, Three Square Food Bank isn’t just your ordinary pantry. It’s a powerhouse of compassion and action, dedicated to providing wholesome food to those who need it most while fervently working towards a hunger-free community. And let me tell you, their enthusiasm is infectious.

As we arrived at the bustling hub of Three Square, we were greeted with warm smiles and a contagious energy that set the tone for the day ahead. We eagerly dove into the tasks at hand, ready to tackle whatever came our way.

It was a whirlwind of activity, but amidst the hustle and bustle, there was an undeniable sense of camaraderie and purpose. What we did felt like a small contribution to a much larger cause.

But it wasn’t all work and no play. Between the laughter and friendly banter, we found moments to pause and reflect on the impact of our efforts. Knowing that our actions were helping to put food on the table for families in need was a humbling reminder of the power of community and compassion.

As the day drew to a close and we bid farewell to our newfound friends at Three Square, we couldn’t help but feel a sense of fulfillment and gratitude. Though our time together was brief, the memories we created and the lives we touched will stay with us forever.
