Pedestrian in Critical Condition After Crash Near Strip

Las Vegas police have responded to a pedestrian accident near Tropicana and Ocean Drive just in front of the MGM Grand Casino. The crash happened on Tuesday night at around 6:40 p.m. on June 28th. The man was said to be darting across eastbound on Tropicana outside of a marked crosswalk. A white Ford Expedition slowed to avoid hitting the mad when a Ford E150 rear-ended the the Expedition causing it to hit the pedestrian.

The pedestrian and the driver of he E150 in the accident were both taken to University Medical Center. The pedestrian is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
