The most critical thing that a person can do to prepare themselves for a Social Security Disability claim is to make sure they have taken care of themselves. They really have to exhaust their medical remedies. What that means is that you have to be a responsible person that goes and sees doctors and pursues recommendations that they have.
The more evidence you have in your file, the more medical treatment you have obtained, the more objective tests you have had that confirm your condition – the increased likelihood you have that you’re going to have your claim accepted and that you are going to be entitled to benefits.
