Summerlin Crash Leaves One Dead

A 53-year-old woman died in a vehicle accident Thursday afternoon in Summerlin, Las Vegas.

At 1:12 p.m., according to police, there was a two-vehicle collision at Crestdale Lane and Trailwood Drive in Summerlin Valley.

At approximately 2:20 p.m., a 2007 Hyundai Azera driven by a 28-year-old woman struck a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350, which was being driven by a 56-year-old Las Vegas woman, at an intersection in Summerlin.

Lien Montgomery, 53, died at University Medical Center less than 30 minutes after the collision, according to the Clark County coroner’s office.

The other motorist was rushed to UMC with critical injuries.
