Stephanie Street at Warm Springs Crash Leaves One in Critical Condition

A vehicle and pedestrian collision in Henderson Wednesday afternoon has prompted the closure of a portion of Stephanie Street in Warm Springs.

A collision was reported at 3 p.m., following reports of a crash involving two pedestrians and a gold Cadillac.

According to Henderson police, the vehicle struck a group of pedestrians who were walking in a designated crosswalk.

One person was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The second pedestrian was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

At this time, speed and impairment are not known to have been a factor in the crash.

Police are still investigating northbound lanes of Stephanie Avenue at Warm Springs, which has resulted in the closure of those lanes as well.
