A Motorcyclist Dies After Colliding with a Car in the Northwest Las Vegas Valley.

A 45-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle Sunday night.

Around 10:42 p.m., a vehicle collided with another car on North Rainbow Boulevard, near Yorktown Road.

According to police, the motorcyclist was riding south on a 2015 Kawasaki Ninja when he was struck by a 31-year-old driver making a left turn in her 2017 Chevrolet Malibu. The collision occurred as the motorcyclist approached an intersection while the other driver began to make a left turn in her 2017 Chevrolet Malibu.

The rider was thrown from his bike as a result of the accident.

The rider was transported to University Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition. On June 13th, police said that despite life-saving efforts, the rider was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.

The motorcyclist has been identified as 45-year-old Ronald Stewart by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

There has been a rise in Las Vegas traffic fatalities since 2022 according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
